Whatever the attendance, one record is safe. I'll not be as arseholed as I was that day.

West Ham away. Spent most of the second half drinking in the concourse. Thought I'd nip out to watch two minutes of the match. Walked out. Rovers scored. Fell over. Marvellous.

Arsenal in the league cup. I hardly ever used to drink at footy as was always driving. That day however was my work Christmas do, so was on the ale from about 2pm. Met my mate and got the Kettlewell's bus from Retford and don't really remember the journey. Started a chant of 'Van Persie is a rapist' after unfounded newspaper allegations in the summer and he went off injured about 5 minutes later. Was still pissed on the journey home, think I was very quiet and nearly in tears.

13092 WOULD be great and the same score as at 90 minutes that day would not spoil my day either !

Derby away. First game in the Championship. Slept at the train station, woke up at about 6am and got a taxi home.

Yup, Britiannia.

We were invited to a bloody wedding on the same day.

I did so much grovelling to get to the match.

When I got to the wedding during the evening I caught up very quickly !

I'm sure around 1996/97 we played Rotherham on Mad Friday, can't remember much about the game

Wembley against the champions of Europe, I had every intention of not having a drink so that I could enjoy the day. I ended up soaking up the ale instead of the atmosphere.  I argued with a steward and a copper that asked me politely to go the long way round to the loo because they had put an overflow of Weeds fans that had bought tickets in our end of the ground. I was fuming but I had a fuller bladder than usual because of the excess beer. I did see the Hayter goal and I enjoyed it on the sober viewing of the DVD.

No that's his good side, he took it on the bogs at the Britannia, with all the excitement, he got blocked up, this was him straining trying to hurry up!. :turd:

That would be brilliant if they called the attendance at 13092 (then said plus 760).

Think that was 97/98. We got hammered 4-0. Seem to remember big Naz fight in the US very late that evening as well.

That one ran a close second for me. Turned up at the ground about 3 minutes before kick-off completely arseholed, singing as we stumbled out of a taxi. Sky Sports cameras made a beeline for us. A picture paints a thousand words!

Not sure of the year, early 2000s I think, York away, absolutely smashed!!!

Ironically, the most smashed I have ever been at a home game was also against York, I had to check the paper the following morning for the score as I couldn't remember!!!

Villa in the fa cup at the km! Bizarrely ended up very drunk and managed to spew up in my future father-in-law's car on the way home (was the first time I'd been in hoppergob's car too I think!)

What a way to make an impression! Lol!

Apart from today I almost always drive,. However when I went to Hannover 96 on their last game last season I had been driving all night to get there and had had a few beers before and during the game.  Due to having no sleep I was as high as a kite! I didn't drive afterwards though!
