Quite impressed with him in tight spaces. When you think he's gonna lose it he manages to get a toe in. Sometimes looks like he'll get flattened and he bounces off.

He's answered the question whether he has an eye for goal. He's definitely got something about him. Reminds me a bit of Steve Claridge. A scruffy type but effective.

Let's just hope he doesn't follow the McKays to Weeds.

So, think many of us would put Mandeville before Main and Gooch.

DF will help him develop towards a good future , better than his ex team mates now at Leeds u21's .By the way only Lund has the same agent as the McKay twins .

He should be third choice behind Williams and Tyson. He could become a pretty good number 10 one day and he's a lot more ready for first team football than Jack McKay is. I did rate Paul though.

Not sure if Mandeville has the nous yet to play regularly at this level.

However, scored a tremendous goal last night.  No harm in starting him, maybe with Tyson on the bench if he himself isn't quite ready?

Assuming we all accept 1 point from 3 games puts us way behind the curve for the play offs, then DF can start tinkering with players and formations, looking to next season, whilst getting some decent results?

Far too early for much tinkering. That sort of approach could get us relegated.

If we've got 50-odd points with five games to go, that's perhaps the time to experiment.

With so many injuries since Stoke/Gillingham, DF has to tinker, by default.  I am not recommending drastic changes, by any means, more just doing what's best for each game without focussing too much on the end of the season position?

He's a condescending bas**rd in the main, and on top of that, always seemed gutted and quick to move on when we did well on FLS for whatever reason.

He's still a lot of developing to do.
