I've a real fear we will go down. We don't look like winning and we don't have players who are capable in this situation

And to think that a few short weeks ago we were talking about chasing for that last play-off spot. I don't think (hope) we're contenders for relegation, but we can't seem to buy a win or point at the moment.

League 2 gets closer if the owners don't want to spend any more?

Spend what, and when?  Unless you mean investing in further loanees, what else?

We wasted the transfer window when we were crying out for several quality players in various positions, plugging the gaps with shite loan signings

The players we have are as good as our league positions suggests

If those stats on the BBC site are anywhere near a true reflection on the game then we're lucky to be only one down

I can't agree with you Frosty.  This is the same players who had got us to within a reasonable shout of a play off challenge by the Stoke game.  Our form at the moment is reflected by where we are in the table.

I don't know what the answer is.  Nick a win and get some confidence back?

We've been nowhere near the play offs.

We're not good enough, not by a long way

Has DF asked them for any more money?

Don't know but do you believe we have the players to stop us going down?

Still, this made me smile...

@TonyCSGreenall: Look forward to Son Of Fergie's post match proclamation of this being the worst derby he's seen since last week. #DRFC

The manager makes signings and picks the team.
I think that we needed players, he apparently didn't.
Only him and the board know if any funds were requested.

We're not good enough, not by a long way

5 games ago we were 6/7 points off the play offs, and in decent form.  At that point in time, we needed to maintain 2 points per game on average to get to 75.  Continue that form without the disruption of injuries, and yes, we may not have closed the gap but would have been competing.

Since then we have got 1 point from 5.

At the time of the Stoke game, we were definitely good enough to be looking to go up the table.  Now, our form suggests we have to look down.  No one is doubting that, but you can't say we weren't in a position to do better a few weeks ago?

Eh?

I am asking you what else the owners can spend on, other than loanees??  Unless that is what you mean?

Would other loanees help?  Or do we  need our own to get back into form?

If it carries on like this there'll be a lot more people saving a lot more than £20 next season.

Maybe, but I for one will still go whenever I can, even if we do suffer relegation.

Of course I want us to finish higher in the table and always aim higher, but in reality I have far more important things to worry about than what division we play in.

I agree. The problem is that I don't think the players are good enough. Am starting to have doubts about Ferguson as well.

Neal as gone back, the two young lads should not be kept. That gives us a chance for at least two better loans. A central midfield player and striker. We need better than Gooch and Lecygne

TRB we gave PD time to build his own side in that we are left with players that have not got in our first team. If We go down then it will be the owners, managers and players fault.

Won one in the last seven games.
