Clocked that we probably wouldn't sign Taff as soon as we signed Bauds. Both left sided centre backs I think.

No, I'm definitely pretty thick considering I'll be getting into most grounds for nothing next season whilst you lot will be being ripped off.

Proper stupid.

Football friends?

You know what gets my goat about a load of you lot - you've got no respect for anyone/anything.

There was a time when I committed a lot of effort/time/dedication to this football club and, for a few reasons, that changed.

Rather than simply being unappreciative little bitches about anything/everything, just accept that people commit time through good intentions, but things change - and regardless of whether you like/dislike someone, anyone committing their own free time to a cause should be appreciated.

Some of you lot have selective memories and are a disgrace - and as an example of that, just look at the anti-John Ryan stuff that rears its head from time to time.

Andy,Lighten up,it's just jesting.BANTAH as our southern friends say.Lifes too short not to have a laugh.I know you put alot in for the club/fans,but throwing your teddy out on here will just fuel the piss taking. :silly:

I'm genuinely puzzled that you haven't figured out that it's entirely your own fault that you get stick on here on occasion. I actually thought the tone was entirely intentional.
You used to come on here full of enthusiasm for the club, and for football in general, but these days all you're full of is yourself. Since your return, you've seemingly got this stick up your arse, and much of what you have to say comes across in a very pretentious, condescending "If only you knew as much as I do, you would agree with me," manner.

Just a casual observance from somebody who doesn't know you from Adam; take it as you will.

Peterborough strike again, missed out bigtime with this player. They are in the league above, pay bigger wages, so i can understand it, i think he would have done very well here!.
He isn't even a risk, he is pure gold. Peterborough will make a profit on him when he is sold, barring injury that is, sometimes you have to speculate to accumulate!.
He is the sort of player i want the club to have a go at signing, they might have had a good go, but the higher league placing may have swung it, plus him wanting to move nearer to southampton where he started!.

I agree with the above post and you have also tried on two posts to bring someone else into the debate to stir things up.
This indicates to me that you are just trying, for whatever reason to wind people up.

FWIW, most folks come on here are passionate about DRFC with many varying opinions, yet passionate.

You - this isn't personal - appear dispassionate.  And that's fair enough too, but the passion or lack of it, stands out.

Most of us are going to see the football world through red and white hooped glasses, and are going to want better achievements than are realistically possible, successful managers, generous owners etc.

Many accept we won't always get what we want, but we can't stop being passionate about it.

Rigo, for the record I haven't got a clue what you do or even did so I am far from jealous of you. My life is pretty full and jealousy is not one of my traits.
A couple of things that stuck in my throat was your condescending way of writing and everyone was wrong and you are right. You don't have the capacity to accept other people's opinions unless they tally up with yours.
And the other more obvious thing was "Blairy gate".
I poked a bit of fun your way with that one and you took it way too personal and PM'd me with your "you don't even know me tripe". It would have been so much more fun if you had come back at me with a funny put down, I like shit like that.
Anyhow, I am not a bully and a few more people have jumped on this and it's getting beyond banter or ribbing you.
So that's me done on this matter and I hope others leave it too.

I've worked in professional football, day-to-day, for three years.

Rigo, you might think that all fans aspire to work for football clubs but I assure you that's not the case.

Personally I couldn't imagine anything worse than getting on the inside of the sport I love and becoming a disillusioned, flaky skinned bore with all the passion of a damp cloth.

Also, you worked for Mansfield fella. f**king Mansfield. It's like boasting that you worked at the Chicko.
