Stat Attack

Rovers haven't played Newport County since 1987, before they lost Football League status and went bankrupt.
The last win against Newport was a 3-2 at Belle Vue in April 1985.

I think that makes it 50 Donny league goals for Copps if you include those 3 play off ones, which i know isn't strictly allowable, but...  :scarf:

Half time report.

Pretty much one-way traffic. Newport have had 2 chances. Both missed the target. Fatty Parkin's miss is actually far easier to score,  an open goal to hit from the edge of the box and he side foots it wide.

Copps,  Rowe and Marquis are having a field day. Newport can't get near them. Newport's best player,  Labadie,  has gone off injured and they don't seem to have much attacking threat.  Williams is working hard and closing down space but his timing is out. He's dragged a couple wide rather than making a clean strike.  He needs a goal in this second half to get his confidence up.

Wright's back header to Marosi  whilst laying on the floor after a tangle with Fatty Parkin was fantastic. Hopefully that will be on some highlights.
