I dont have a problem with that as a tactic as long as we dont play the same formation as we play when we are in attack mode.  We need to be compact and hard to get through, and certainly not defend as badly from the wide positions as Blair did on tuesday.  Got to stop the crosses coming in .

We defend badly full stop. That's the hallmark of a Ferguson team.

It is a better tactic if we are 2 up, not 1 up, unless we are better at the back..
