We're now favourites with the bookies for both the title and promotion. Amazingly, you can still get some very good odds on Plymouth for promotion.

Staggering! Plymouth are five points clear.

Although I'm happy enough with how we're doing, there's no way I'd make us favourites.

From the teams I've seen (ie not Portsmouth) I'd say Carlisle are worth a bet for promotion.

Plymouth tend to go into meltdown at the end of February

We were 10/1 at the start of the season when we should have been about a 4/1 chance. Unbelievable price.

Pompey could possibly be priced up as favourites but we had to be a clear second in.

Plymouth, Portsmouth and Carlisle may have different thoughts on what the bookies think.

We're not there yet, but we're not far off and a couple of astute loans after Christmas could do the trick. However, we await news on Andy Williams, which isn't looking good, apparently.

We will need some experienced back up for williams. A free transfer until the end of the season, just need to find the right one.

Plymouth have had an easier start to the season.

in case you haven't noticed it's plymouth v Porksmouth (and the rovers rejects) tomorrow  if porks lose it's going to be very hard to win the championship

I'm sure we all agree a draw is best for Rovers but have a look at the odds for the match and you will be shocked

For me any promotion is the priority, so if we can win tomorrow (top prioroty) then I would prefer to open up a bigger gap below rather than close the one above - so I would prefer a Plymouth win.

Except that it is far too early to see which out of Plymouth, Portsmouth, Luton or Carlisle are the likely main rivals, or anyone else for that matter.

I think after 23 games, all we need to do is concentrate on winning as many of our own.  Starting tomorrow.

We are still only four points clear of morecambe, as well as we are doing we beat them five one yet are still within 'touching distance'. A lot of hard work to be done yet, the whole team needs to be relentless in seeking points.
Players coming back into the squad will only help that as players know one bad game and they could be out. It will raise standards even further which we need to happen.

Nailed on to be champions  imo as long as we get that concentration worked on .
We might have had 4/ 5 against Barnet easily but to ship 2 was very careless.
