A bit clumsy for the penalty, just a tangle of legs by the looks of it but he wasn't going anywhere.

If Jones was younger/more athletic would he have stopped the ball through to Marquis? Not sure if it was another CB for Hartlepool it would of been intercepted?.

That pass through to Marquis before he squared it for our second was absolutely perfect. Maybe a better centre back would have gotten to it...but the weight on that ball to make it an iffy one for the keeper to close down was amazing.

Their pen was a clear foul on their player by Baudry, we'd have been upset if we hadn't been given it.

No tangle of legs, a two handed push in the middle of the back. Silly challenge

From looking at the video, the inch perfect ball through to marquis was in fact meant for coppinger.
The penalty was silly, but he dived there was no force, he shouldn't be falling over. Was a daft thing to do but it wasn't a push

Sorry but it was a stonewaller...  right in my line of view, we can't complain.

The most certain penalty I've seen for ages

Cast iron pen for me too.
I called it at the game before the ref blew.
No need for the push either as their player was never going to get a shot away.

Their player bought the pen.  He stopped and Baudry ran into his back.  Made it an easy decision for the ref.

No complaints.

Jones' lack of pace was instrumental in our winner.  He'd only been on the pitch 60 seconds when that happened.

I reckon that the Harlepool number three was more to blame than Jones for our winner.
He let Marquis go past him and get clear for the cross.
If Evina had done that he would have been slaughtered for it.

Yeah, Jones had to run across to him, the left back should have had Marquis.
