Amen to that.
Fate has no respect for wealth or fame but some of our Premiership prima donnas are too thick to realise just what they have.

Tragic what has happened today, utterly tragic. Football needs to come together and I'm sure it will. A collection at the Grimsby game would be a good idea.

Yes very sad and you have to feel for their families.
There was a piece on Channel 4 News which mentioned the other clubs had agreed they wont be relegated for the next 3 seasons and that they will loan them players until the club gets going again.

Sad news and a reminder if any were needed that it is just a game that people the world over love!
Big thumbs up to all the other teams!

How does an experienced Captian allow his aircraft to run out of fuel?
And why did n't he make a Mayday call rather than asking for priority landing?
Why did n't the Co pilot take over if they knew they were running out of fuel and the pilot was just ignoring it?
Why did they not stop for fuel when the stop was scheduled into the flight plan?
All the evidence so far points to these deaths being avoidable had the Captain followed the safety procedures regarding the amount of fuel on board. It also turns out that the Captain was also co owner of the airline, was his fatal decision not to stop for refueling based on the cost implications for the company he co owned?

Saw the video of the captain beaming away for the TV cameras when they took off. He looked a bit starstruck. Maybe pride got in the way of procedure. Who knows.

RIP everyone, and condolences and strength to survivors and families, even though these words seem hollow and empty

Just like Munich the staff and other people the newspapers forget. Every human life lost is a tragedy not just the footballers. I can't believe that we are supposed to be more advanced in aeronautical matters and we seem to be getting more crashes. Or maybe it's because every one that happens now is covered by the news channels.
Absolute disgrace if it's true that it was a fuel shortage that caused it. That is a lot of very unhappy families this Christmas i really feel for them.
How long will it take until some mindless filth starts chanting about it in our football?. I hope nobody drops to that sub-human level.
