We are signing a new keeper in January. Joe Pugh is being recalled.

Well their whereabouts remain a mystery. They weren't on the wagon either.

He wasn't on the bench in last weeks home game and that must have gone unnoticed.

He cannot catch a break Etheridge, even when he's injured he still cops it

I beg to differ, he has caught a break here. A broken finger.

That bouffanted Hartlepool player must have had some hard head for Ross to bust his hand punching him in the back of the noggin.

I don't think Ross is getting any stick on here, more like Mr Frost is copping for it for not realising he has been injured for the last two games, one of them at the KMS as well where it should have been easier to spot.

Anyone know how long he might be out for?

Some tough matches coming up and if we lost Marosi mid-game we might well be in trouble

Edit: Not a sleight on Jones by the way, who may be a great prospect, but a big ask to make his debut mid-game at say Plymouth

Way Fergie talked after he did it made it sounds like a magic sponge, 'get on with it son' job.

As I posted earlier, I've heard from sources deep deep within the club (Terry Bramall himself) that we are set to sign a new keeper in Jan. What this means for Etheridge I do not know.

I said a few weeks ago that in the pre match shoot ins that Ross spilled lots of his saves and balls rebounded back off him to the shooters.
I watched young Jones in the pre match shoot in before the Orient game and he was quite the opposite.
He got down really well to keep shots out and the ones he didn't hold were pushed away from goal.
He looked really good.

Here's a thought. Maybe give Jones a debut in Tuesday's game. I'm sure Etheridge would have played if fit. At least then if Jones is called upon he will have some first team time under his belt.

Fergie has said he would like to loan Etheridge out, so if another keeper comes in that is probably what will happen.

As for another keeper I was told a very interesting name at the last home game. I'd be surprised if true but you never know. He'd definitely be first choice, which would be hard on Marko.

Agree with that. If there are not enough 'regular' (6?) players starting,  then maybe start with Marosi and give Jones 45 minutes.

I think some "creativity" will be needed with substitutions. I'm sure he will want to give Copps, Rowe, Butler, Houghton and possibly Marquis the night off.

More than that left after the 2 bets Saturday Rovers and Arsenal both to win but concede. Have gone for same v Donkey lashers 13/5 but worried we may keep a clean sheet !
