Plymouth or Newport away to Liverpool

I think that is a great draw for us , because hopefully some of Plymouth players will be thinking about next weeks replay and what that could lead to.

I can already envisage some of you lot frothing at the mouth in angry fits of rage at Graham Westley, should Newport County get through to this guaranteed money-spinner of a cup tie. ;)

That's got f**k all to do with anything - the thread is about the effect on Plymouth, and therefore on our game on Saturday.

Nowt to do with Westley.

Then again, any reason to stir things up, eh Rigo??

Please try to keep your trolling confined to one thread if possible, for everyone's sake.

At the start of season I backed Newport to get relegated .

One of the reasons being the manager.

Who at the time was Warren Feeney

Ex Linfield manager, who my partner's sons support and neither of them thought was any good.

And with me being a Glenman.

Is that Glenfiddich or Glentoran. Maybe both on a bad day. 😉

This season there hasn't been many good days for the Glens, as long as the Blue Shitte don't win the league, most Glenman don't mind

Well, they won't be taking their eye off the ball this Saturday! The replay at Newport has been moved back to Wednesday 21st December and will be televised by BT.

Apparently there is a full programme of Premier League games next week two of which are live on BT.

presumably Newport knew that last night
I had visions of them trying to get the game called off if the weather turned
also from what I can see on their website 4 players  - no idea how good they were - were on yellow cards for the rovers match so might have been treading carefully

between 17 dec and jan 14th they have now 7 games
