What side is Ferguson going to go with?

With this cup tending to be an opportunity for fringe players to keep fit who will he start with?. I would go with this side against Blackpool.

                                        Marosi

                                    Baudry   Wright

                            Alcock                      Mason

                                          Keegan

                           Middleton   Beestin    Rowe

                                  Williams        Mandeville

Subs. Longbottom, Scattergood, Calder, Fielding, Garratt, Evina, Jones

Probably about that, although I don't think Rowe will play and Calder will.

Been checking up on the rules and we need to play five who started on Saturday.

So I reckon Marosi, Alcock, Baudry, Mason and Mandeville get the short straws.

We know Williams will start and Blair won't. Fergie will want Beestin, Middleton, Keegan and Calder to play. So I reckon the team more or less picks itself.

Cedric will probably get a run out off the bench and so will Longbottom.

Calder for Rowe and Evina for Alcock or Mason. May even give Marquis and Mandeville 45 mins each.

Incidentally, what's the weather doing up in Donny today? Freezing fog according to the forecast. Will the game be on?

It's not Dany. He's a youth player called Christian N'Guessan.

Cheers RB, I did wonder as I pressed send. Let's hope that he is about as effective as our Dany was.😉

thought i'd check out the name  seeing it isn't that common

found this little gem

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/22368063

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has said he took off substitute Dany N'Guessan against Crystal Palace because he was not doing his job for the team.
N'Guessan was on the pitch for only 14 minutes in Tuesday's 0-0 draw.
"I didn't think Dany was particularly playing for the team and we needed to change it," Jackett said.
"I needed to address that very quickly as many times in our home games this season we have undone ourselves late in the game."
N'Guessan has scored two goals in 18 appearances for Millwall with season, nine of them as a substitute.

Our focus is going to be about us putting in a performance to try and win at Derby. If we do that it doesn't matter what else happens around the country
Kenny Jackett on Millwall's survival hopes
The 25-year-old came on for Liam Trotter in the 72nd minute of the game against Palace, but was then substituted himself after less than a quarter of an hour on the pitch

o
somebody obviously didn't "toe the line" and do their homework before signing .....................

I thought it was six from you're last line up in the league, otherwise i wouldn't have picked Rowe as a starter. I think Longbottom has a decent future maybe not as impressive tonight but he has a bit of promise.
It just shows from tonight's midfield just the sheer movement of our regular midfield. Very ordinary in midfield tonight. I think Harry needs to do more he's better than what he is showing. I think a loan somewhere to get him confident is needed.

Wright has the ability to be one of our regular centre backs there are just little things he needs to learn to make himself a regular. Marosi really couldn't do any more than he did tonight. He had a really good game.
Calder i think he has a lot to his game there are just weaknesses he needs to work on. Beestin is developing alright we just need to give him time but he has to realise you don't get long in the professional game to prove yourself.
