I like that he's trying to do that. Copps could be the missing link in that over the last few games? Alfie May could make it interesting!

Converting all seasons to either 2 points per win or all seasons to 3 points per win for a fair comparison gives the same results:

1946-47: 39 at 2 per win/57 at 3 per win
2003-04: 34 at 2 per win/49 at 3 per win
1927-28: 34 at 2 per win/49 at 3 per win
2016-17: 32 at 2 per win/46 at 3 per win

Next is 1953-54: 31 at 2 per win/45 at 3 per win
