Pubs made this country great, but sadly I fear the great majority will disappear. They stood their ground through thick and thin over the last century or so but they're disappearing by the dozen daily, sugdenly.
It's also because breweries rip every penny they can get away with from the poor buggers trying to run their pubs.

Most pubs in town are on their arse, and most are empty unless it is a saturday night. There's an extremely well know favourite shutting up shop soon, unfortunately I cannot say which one.

If one shuts in the next Month you can say " aha told you" even if its not the one you think it might be !PM me the initials because I am the soul of discretion and will tell nobody. For me all Pubs are all in danger as the younger crowd want different things these days leaving the "only" regular clientele for the rest of the Pubs to consist of old gits like me who want ONLY real Ale and or Food so I would expect the non real Ale Pubs that don't serve Food as the most "exposed"
