Support needed from Rovers supporters
« on January 20, 2017, 01:25:47 pm by roversontheup »
My Mum has Chronic Kidney Disease and to support research I will be walking 56 miles through Yorkshire Wolds from York to Filey starting on Sunday and finishing on Wednesday.
My Mum is 90 and has followed Rovers home and away for 72 years. Unfortunately she cannot go to many away games now but still goes to all our home games. She lives and breathes Rovers!
I have added a link to my Just Giving page for Kidney Research. If any of you can sponsor me, doesn't matter how small an amount, I will be very grateful.

Yeah - I'm certain we have - which is all good! I would say we should definitely make a donation to gill's cause tho regardless!

Thanks Donnywolf. That habit of Trumps of linking his thumb and forefinger annoys the hell out of me! Actually, nearly everything about him annoys the hell out of me!!

I finished my  56 mile, 4 day walk yesterday for Kidney Research. Walked in snow, freezing fog, cloud, and eventually on the last day the sun shone showing the Yorkshire Wolds in all their glory.
I confess that I am pleased not to have to put my walking boots on today.
I have been humbled by the support I have received from both friends and strangers but having visited the Renal unit at DRI with my Mum this morning I am unashamedly trying to get a little more. If anyone can afford to add more to the pot please either PM me or go to my Just Giving page....https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Gill-Shepherd?utm_medium=email&utm_source=ExactTarget&utm_campaign=20170125_96877#
Thanks everyone.
