Virtually full team for Owls, I'll post teams later
A young Doncaster side played very well against a side that cost quite a few bob in the transfer market, and overall gave as good as they got. Wright,Lund,Middleton ,and Keegan all played very well,Etheridge keeping us in the game with some good saves especially in the second half. Alfie took a knock and went off straight away presumably as a precaution, and the team in general were always trying to play football, but were overpowered up front by a more experienced and bigger defence. Cedric played well at left back getting forward, and overall a good performance in a not so friendly friendly by the team as a whole, and pleasing with the younger players not being bullied. The funny incident was when the very large Wednesday centre forward came chest to face with Middleton, after Harry brought him down,he was 8inches bigger, well done Harry.

No harm meant mate, just pointing out Lund played 90mins,Etheridge played very well apart for the one mistake, and although put under pressure with crosses from set pieces, dealt with everything and made two excellent saves when one on one. He needs confidence and games, there is a good goalkeeper there given a chance. Marco was stood on the side watching with a group of first teamers, which I took as a good sign on his recovery.
