Marquis 2nd goal very much like the one against Wycombe. Sublime.

Plus, something to  note, the first one to get over to Congratulate him was williams. As a fellow striker in the middle of a goal drought,  it would be easy for him to maybe be a bit envious of John's goal return,  well pleased  but keep the celebrations maybe muted a tad.  But no, you can see that they are fighting as a team, win together, lose together.  When one scores, they all score.   Fergie has to take immense credit for this.  No premadonnas , no stars, just a collection of grafters where the collection is greater than the sum.of the parts...

Sorry don't agree, prefer the white, but it doesn't really matter as long as we keep the upward momentum.

Both of his goals were clinical in execution. Williams is a goal away from getting on a run himself. I hope he doesn't get too down.

Fully agree with that DBR. Williams is playing a vital role really well at the moment, and the goals will surely come.

That flag behind our goal. Any fans of The Courteeners out there?

I am but it's not my flag.  I'll start a Courteeners/ Rovers flags related quiz which I don't envisage will go further than one question.
Which potential flag based on the Courteeners lyrics and our league season to date,  could be aired next week?

Did Copps hit the post with that shot? I missed that on commentary.

Possibly the most under rated band in Britain at the minute. Sold out Heaton  park and still no one's heard of them outside the north. Southern music press are shite.

His pass to Rowe? to start that attack was true class, superb vision and sharp execution, as was the shot that hit the post to end the move. Would have been one of the Rovers goals of the season if it had gone in.

Total quality that third goal.
Johnny is proving his quality week in, week out.
The way he turns defenders inside out inside the box shows he is full of confidence right now.

All 3 were brilliant, wish Williams had scored, feel sorry for the guy, he's giving his bloody all, it will come and I hope he over celebrates it too.

We're back, could be promoted by the end of February depending on others or march for definite.
