Stat Attack v Carlisle
W23 / D17 / L23

Rovers equal Carlisle in the all-time WDL record, both teams winning this fixture 23 times and drawing 17. Since the old Division 3 became League 2 Carlisle have actually edged the fixture, winning 4/7 and drawing 1; Rovers only winning 2/7.

Looking at the table today you would think Carlisle are doing pretty well, sitting 3rd in League Two and 3 points clear of 4th. However, United haven't won at Brunton Park since December 17th, losing 2 and drawing 3 of their previous 5 home fixtures. They have only won once in 2017 and shipped 13 goals, whereas Rovers have yet to lose in 2017 and have only allowed 4 goals against them.

Surprise, surprise Rovers are not featured on Radio Sheffield tonight, so you'll be best listening in to Rovers player or keeping up in the Lucky Pint below  :aok:

I'll take a repeat of the 1-0 home fixture in 2008, if I remember it was a scrambled goal somewhere of Hayter's body after a corner melee in the 87th minute..

I'll be setting off mid afternoon to get there in good time for a bite to eat and a pint or two with my mate before the game.

Good morning from snow engulfed New Brunswick. We are all shoveling out after a massive snow storm yesterday. Canadian Rover will be still in the middle of it today. Hope he's ok.

What price a Sheffer's goal? Good to have him back at the crunch end of the season COYR

Personally would play Wright for the aerial threat from Waring and Proctor.. can't understand why we haven't in the absence of Baudry.

Good to have McSheffery  back, adds attacking options. Baudry must have failed the pre-match medical, or DF didn't want to risk him.

DRFC twitter say there was a late change moments before KO with butler injured.

According to R Player Butler came out for the warm up but went down the tunnel and hasn't started ... Wright on in place of him.

Good luck with that. They didn't register Donny v Newport at all on Friday, not even in the results round up.
