Sounds like chance after chance for rovers.

Taking a pen is like hitting a snooker ball in the right place, not that difficult. It is something that can be practised. Anyway... other scores a mixed bag so far, I'd be happy with a point in this.

Rubbish.. the more we create the more likely we are to score.. a few years back at millwall we had 30 attempts at goal and only won 3-0..

We aren't top scorers in the division for no reason!!

Newport 0 Orient 2.

Although I've always been kindly disposed towards Newport County, I can't abide that manager of theirs. So this score, if it stays, will just about hammer the final nail in his coffin. Splendid. He can't moan about inherited players. They're all his now. Come on Orient.

Their keeper sounds to be a bit too good!

I hope you're right because I've never seen us have all the chances and lose 1-0 in my 48 (48!! Jesus I'm old) years of watching the Mighty Reds!

BBC Sport stats say they have had 60% possession, but it sounds to be all Rovers.

0-0 half time we've had plenty of chances to be leading.

Just seen the penno,  why on earth do players not smash f@@ck out of the ball,  just whack it. If it's hard enough,  it goes in!!!!

Not seen it - what did Marquis do?

Whacking it is one approach, but hitting it hard enough and acurately is more effective. Most people can kick something making contact within a square inch of the the target, which then makes it go in a particular direction. That's all it takes and these pros should be able to be far more acurate. Soft placement is risky, mind game type run ups are as distracting for the kicker as the keeper.

If the keeper dives the wrong way the same shot is a cool calm penalty!

VITAL SAVE FK is headed on goal by McNerney but Lawlor touches it onto the post. Cleared out for corner . Crawley 0 #drfc 0

I hope we don't live to regret our missed chances.

Plymouth and Luton winning not looking good for Carlisle.

It's clueless how commentators will come out with that kind of thing. About half of scored pens are like this, less than average quality and easily saveable if the keeper goes the right way.

I stick by my early season post that Carlisle will dive and finish mid table.

He placed it fairly softly to the corner, if goalie chooses rightly , it's an easy save.
