I reckon 8.5k. They'll bring a fair few being in the playoff picture and we can be promoted.

Just my opinion after hearing a few in the ' local' saying they'll take it on so knowing how the Donny public usually work I feel there might be some genuine momentum on this one... hopefully!!

I'm gutted as Mrs 'Hood' booked a weekend break in Suffolk for next weekend yonks ago. The offspring and me are still bouncing from our trip to the seaside yesterday, but i'm afraid next week is a no show  :(. Rest assured though, we'll be tuned in.  :scarf:

Assuming Mansfield bring 1500 to 2000 then surely the gate will be 9000 +. Let's face it if we can't get 7000 home fans in the ground for a potential promotion clinching match against a local rival then I dispair at the Doncaster public.  :headbang:

Wasn't there 11k against Notts Co when we blew it the week before Brentford? Granted it was league 1 but surely we should be near there, reckon scabs will bring 2-2.5k

10k plus is a tad optimistic. 7k is a tad pessimistic so somewhere in-between is about right.

Sometimes you can't fathom the Donny public. If you look back at similar circumstances promotion games at this level have generated 10k plus crowds but they were on the backdrop of us being poor for long periods.

This time I still feel a fair proportion are staying away because they feel we are below where we should be and will stay away until we threaten promotion from league One.

Almost 13000 and I think they brought 800.

I reckon there will be 6500 from Donny plus whatever the scabs bring.

Campsall, you're forgetting we are still in Div 2 and will only be getting back to where we should have been this season!

We're getting carried away - just calm down. The support will come back gradually as we progress up the FL.

I would guess there being 7,000'ish for Satdi, but hope for more.

In 2008/09 our lowest league attendance was 9,534. We've certainly lost a fair few over the last decade

May be wrong but could that be the Hartlepool tickets ?
I may be wrong, but I reckon the Stags will fetch 2500 and we will just hit 10000 in total

12000 would be an awesome gate. Let's just hope we don't blow it. The whole town comes out and it's a Notts County....or a Darlington  (before my time but not mystic mikes) all over again.

You can work out how many tickets have been sold on the ticket sales website.

Around 4800 home tickets so far which is well down on what the Plymouth game was at the same stage.

Daft as it sounds we're up. Notts County a lot went thinking we need to win as getting a result down at Brentford will be tough.
9.5k I reckon hopefully see a big crowd v Blackpool to if their fans are turning up now they're in the play offs

When we were promoted and champions from division 3 (league 2) and at Belle Vue we averaged 6900 crowds, lowest 4700, highest 9800 ( Hull City).

So although we all want better support I believe they will come higher up the leagues we progress..

So we had bigger crowds at Belle Vue? Other than Belle Cue being the better ground, location was probably better to.

Padge, you have to put the BV gates into historical context, when comparing with the Moat and the here and now. At BV, we were on the rise and could only dream about the heady heights of the Championship. Now, we've been there and done it and we all know there has been a steady decline since. That is the difference.

The more we get near to reaching the Championship, the more the missing thousands will return. Simples.

Rose tinted specs, see thread about what happens at the keepmoat when rovers are not playing. This wouldn't be possible at BV. I loved the ground but the keepmoat is a better stadium.

Also this 'better location' is balls. We're about 10 minutes walk away from the old ground. I could understand if we had moved from the city centre.

Belle Vue was easier to get away from in my opinion. It also seemed more central for people walking to the ground.
