I used to work on wentworth golf course on west drive between holes 4/5 I think it was as a groundsmen gardener at a house called mandalay .

Some rich Arab had it and it was worth 7 million back then in early 1990s .

Good there is some money round that neck of the woods.

Why is it when somebody is a left footer playing football that they somehow look more stylish on the ball?. Semi skimmed like many other things became popular because the government told us it was healthier. Just like they said marg was better than butter but years later they are realising it isn't. I'm sure sweeteners in tea will be the same. At one point Diesel cars were 'better for the environment'-. Best thing to do listen to the government and do the opposite you will last longer. By the way i'm a semi skimmed victim.

Looks like it's only me that still drinks full fat milk going on this mori poll.

I have tried full skimmed and semi skimmed and the look of the full skimmed was enough to put us off.

Semi skimmed, especially with tea. Why anyone would want to put cream in a cup of tea is beyond me.

Guess that makes me a left wing lip smacker who drinks cat piss.

Bang on with that Nick.

To answer Oslo's question though.  Not only do I prefer whole milk, I like the Gold Top stuff from Jersey cows... Ice cold on your cornflakes and wolf 'em down before they go soggy... HEAVEN!

Can you still get that stuff ? Seem to recall it came in a small red and white  tin and it was terrible stuff.

Had a a print of a small red flower on in .

Was it called > roses carnation tinned milk?

Once tried it in a cup of tea when I was much much younger because there was no milk in the fridge and bascially nearly chucked me gutts up.

When you think about it she might have done some of you all a favour ,when you think that it's was full fat milk that was only on the market back then .

Today according to the so called experts full fat milk is a NO NO ,hence why you have the option of that shite skimmed milk .

Allways got told that milk was good for your teeth back then

Now then. Talking about how we first disvcovered things to eat, its always made me wonder about bread...
Some bloke or woman saw this thing growing in a field and thought ...'I know I'll gather a few of these seeds, grind them down with a stone until its a powder, then mix it with some water, bash it about a bit, then throw it in the fire and see what happens.'
Amazing.

We have a sort of sour curdled milk goo called Laban the Arabs love it.
Horrific stuff. I swear if you spilled it on a concrete patio, the edges would curl.

Don't know if this thread has owt to do with it or a combination of the milk gods or the chief noggy cow union ,but mr oldest will be at a casting audition test on Friday for a Norwegian milk addvert.

If he is chosen he will get paid 10,000 Kr > £1000 for his troubles. Which is a massive step up for the two boxes of pokerman go cards and 200 Kr > £20 that he got for the local council education video he was on for computor classes .

I have just showed that accrington Stanley footage to mr lad via you tube .

But it's a tad strange as I have drummed into him that noggy milk is the best milk in the world every time he clocks me taking a good swag of the stuff from the fridge.
