Times for Flying Scotsman - please note these are as you will see massively different from the "provisional" times but I am guessing are the correct ones

That the pub that all northern football fans would land in like a Mecca whenever heading bsck home after a game in the smoke.

Duke of york was our preference most times.

It is still a pub, re-opened as the Scottish stores but a very different clientele now

Yeah, it's hugely disappointing. I used to pop in to have a leisurely pint after any customer meetings in the capital. Ruined the place, they have. Bloody ruined it.

Try the Flying Scotsman Tap in Donny

Owned by Chantry Brewery (Rotherham) and has several of their own Beers on and at a reasonable rate

Entertainment always looks good Facebook / Twitter etc

Worth going to see the FS Mural on the wall - well painted including air vent and Radiator !

I have a second opinion finally and as these are the official Train running times for all the network I am now happy to say I think the times are right

http://www.opentraintimes.com/schedule/U55364/2017-06-24

On the day if you press the Link on the left 1z42 or whatever it is you can keep right up to date with the Loco's progress so you will know if it is massively late and can adjust your arrival to suit

Never seen the flying Scotsmen in full flight or even in half flight .

Guess I only have a twitch to see it flying Scotsmen by me since it's wrapped into Doncasters plant works history.

Gave me food for thought before Iam six foot under or cremated
