We are used to missed chances , after all we have to  watch Andy Williams throw his head back so many times it's like watching someone having a fit .

You can remember AW like that if you want..  I prefer to remember the lad battling to the end vs Barnet (after their only weapon had brought them level to 2-2) to nick an injury time winner.

he then got a kick on the final whistle - unpunished by that ref - which put him out of action for several weeks and after which he struggled for form, hence the frustration.

Loved that goal against Barnet, kind of moment you go to football for.

Not only that, but the extra time winner at home vs Crewe the season before..

That's what players of Williams' calibre can do, so they are what we need to budget for (back to the topic).  So what if the lad gets wound up when he misses, or Marquis gets a bit ratty etc.. They want to succeed don't they??

They are welcome to show their frustration, it shows they care about their performances.

If we are scraping the barrel after only signing mason, andrews and kiwomya then it shows how piss poor our budget was. If by keeping willo its ruined our summer recruitment then we are offering a really low table budget. Khemis and a loanee kid will not break the bank so wheres the money gone ?? This was ment to be a top 6 budget.

who says we are scraping the barrel?

where has the club said we can't afford to sign more players, or are we just waiting for the right ones that DF wants rather than pissing the budget on number filling?

Utter rubbish from start to finish. If you think signing a highly-rated England youth international from Chelsea, or Grimsby's Player of the Year is "scraping the barrel" then I don't know what to tell you other than adjust your expectations. Do you want us to bring in Neymar or something?

Keeping Williams has had no effect on our summer budget, he was kept once we missed out on a striker target and Fergie decided he was better than anyone else available. Simple as that.

Aye, so long as they get on with it. I've said before, couldn't care less how he reacts, so long as it doesn't stop him following in when there's a rebound or something to try and make amends. Pisses me off when he could have further involvement but he's just stood looking to the sky flapping his arms about.

It would be very unusual for him to switch off if there was a rebound available.
When i have seen him do the arm waving stuff any scoring opportunity has gone or a ball he perhaps should have got to has been cleared away.

Williams is a good player, and I would go as far as to say,we dont have any bad players.
Some I prefer to others and form usually goes up and down with most players, and is more noticeable with strikers because scoring is what they get paid for,Andy has proved with us, and the other teams he has played for his worth over a number of seasons.

Due to the club fannying about we have now missed out on Neymar.

I don't think we are short on players if I'm honest, we just have a few injuries.
and a few lame ducks after Saturday's performance

And if the rumour doing the rounds on social media about this kids identity is true, he looks mightily impressive! Will make some of the impatient ones look like plonkers!

So looking forward to Saturday especially if this lad trotters out! 😉

"trotters" in Baz's post should give that away.
