Any idea what has happened to him? He's not been involved in pre season and isn't listed on the website.

There were high hopes for him when he signed. He went out on loan shortly after (somewhere like Telford?) but not heard anything since? He's only very young I think so wouldn't expect to see him in the first team picture yet, but you'd hope he's progressing with us.

He will be 19 or nearly 19 now I think. You'd have thought he'd be around the first team in the friendlies at that age. Too old to play for the kids.

Answering my own question to a degree, he seems to be playing for Widnes FC.

Looks like he has left Rovers, although I have heard nothing.

A small update. He started the season with Runcorn Linnets, the club from which he joined us. At the beginning of September he joined Widnes.

He was loaned out two or three times and it's fair to say he didn't seem to make much of an impact.

I don't suppose he was on huge money so probably not expensive to pay him off, if indeed that is what happened.

Yes. Young lad we signed from non league in January after trials with us. He was loaned straight out to Tamworth then disappeared.

Saw he got sent off playing for Marine on Tuesday night in Evo Stick Northern Prem, so he's been on the move again.

Alot of clubs for a young player at his age. Seems strange.

Terms finally agreed with him. I was told he left in the summer as it was clear he wasn't going to make it in the professional game. Now his contract has been settled.

Goalkeeper Ross Etheridge has left Rovers after the club agreed to cancel his contract by mutual consent

Midfielder Tony Donaldson, who signed on professional terms in January 2017 after previously training with the club, has also left the club.
