Parking at Blackburn

I have read the SLO advice regarding parking but I'm not keen on paying a tenner to park. I'm not leaving Retford until 12 so traffic dependent it may be close to kick off before I arrive.
Does anyone know of a decent and cheap ish place to park please?

I remember parking in some muddy field nearby last time we played there. It was well signposted, cost about a fiver but was a devil to get out of.

Last time I went I parked in a working men's club in between the motorway and the ground, paid about a fiver and had a pint before wandering down. Looking on Google maps I don't think it is even there any more!

Football ground guide is pretty decent for parking info.

We parked at a pub on the main road, about 300/400 yards from the ground. I think that was a fiver and it was ok. Awful place to get of though, no matter where you park.

Thanks DaveDRFC, that is a brilliant website. I live 8 mile from Ewood Park (a slightly shorter all round trip than the usual 140 miles for me!), but it's not an area I frequent so the info regarding the parking & where to get a pint is brilliant. I'll now be using it for the other 'local' away games at Blackpool, Rochdale, Bury, Fleetwood, Wigan & Oldham.
