Once spent the night sat in a wreck of a car in a scrapyard in Biggleswade after being involved in a high speed crash on the A1 after an England Scotland night match at Wembley about 1982 or 83

Used to stop there (on Coach) after England Scotland games. Notably 75 77 & 79.

Great little place

I guess May 83 as I went in 75 77 and 79 and got married in 81.

Coaches always stopped on way home in Biggleswade and we were stunned to find the Pubs did not close till 11.15 - a very liberal town back then for sure !

Googled .... June 1 83 and 2-0 to Eng-er-land

Biggleswade is on A1 Herts/Cambs border 5 miles from where I live in Hitchin
Hitchin Town played them on Monday night in a charity game not sure if our loanees played.

Sky sports Spanish pundit is heavily involved with them ..... possible overseas loans in the offering

I'm sure Brian Robson scored one of the goals

Isn't he involved in Biggleswade United and not town. I'm not sure which one our 2 young lads have gone to.
