I don't think Dickov was that bad. Rovers played better football under him than Dean Saunders, at least, and considering it was in a league higher he should be given some credit. A lot of people jump on the 'in-crowd opinions' bandwagon, and it's that reason why 'in crowd opinions' become popular.

Wednesday is a free game in a way. No points to play for and no expectations of a win. Tell the players to go out and play football, they might gain something for Saturday with a decent showing and 5,000 away fans backing them at the Emirates.

Ah, I just remembered reading something from Ray who does the reading list's clippings saying that. Must've been fairly old then.
