Hardly surprising given the start they've had to the season.

Nevertheless, given all the problems there is at Sunderland, I think even Jose Mourinho on the luckiest streak of his managerial career would struggle to turn them around.

I don't envy the person who gets the job.

Not sure what people see in Adkins.
Apparently he was a good physio...but manager?
Led Blunts to worst position for over 30 years, lost more than he won at Reading, out of the game for 18 months.
Not the ideal recent CV.

The same Adkins who got Scunthorpe into the championship twice, and took Southampton from League one to the premier league in consecutive seasons?

OK his recent "form" hasn't been great, but to question his overall managerial abilities does open you up to criticism...

The emphasis was on the recent.
People wanted Fergie out and he's got four promotions on his CV...in the past.
Anyway there is no vacancy and nobody will be baying for blood after we beat Rotherham on Saturday.

I hope that if DF does ever leave we don't end up with Grayson.  He's just one of many on the managerial merry go round who is making a good living at being a failure.   The list is endless

How is he making a living out of being a failure when he's won promotion at every club in his career before Sunderland?

I'd love that kind of failure.
