All I'm seeing here is 200 fans had a great day playing games, having a stadium tour and chatting to the players. How is this a bad thing in any way?!

Anything that encourages the youngsters is good.must have missed it on line.

Two of my under 10 boys went and loved it. One is now a Rovers fan and bought a load of kit.
Loads of positives I reckon.

Not disputing its a good thing at all and I'm not knocking the club and if it  gets more youngsters involved fantastic  I'm purely commenting on the headline the fans were hardly "flocking" to the event

Would you rather they write an article saying they're disappointed that more people didn't turn up? Of course they're going to make everything sound as positive as it can be, that's just good marketing sense, they want things like this to be seen in a good light.

I think if you check the definition of flock you'll find it's not an exaggeration.
Most shepherds would be delighted to have a flock of 200 sheep.

I get the OP point but 200 is a good number for kids to feel connected with what's going on. Possibly the perfect number for the point of the exercise which is growing/brainwashing the young fanbase
