« on January 20, 2018, 12:29:34 pm by LincolnDonny »
With a few things happening at home ........PIP forms etc

wife and i needed cheering up

so we watched our DVD of the Brentford v Donny match

that last 2 minutes did it for us .........still stunned when the penalty was awarded against us .

looking at the faces of our lads..........the deflation was there for all to see.

you could see the hoo haa that was happening about who should take the penalty

the commentary .......at that point could not have been better ..........my heart was beating even now, still watching the DVD again

surely this time its gonna go in

OMG

he hit the crossbar........

get the ball outtttttttttttt

kicks and misskicks

how did the ball get hit to Billy?

he was just chatting near the halfway line......saying well we got so effin close

hang on here comes the ball.................

going for goal .......looks to left

COPPS....i see him

pass............thank god just right pressure

copps looking cool...................... but his BIG heart beating fast................

they think its all over

it is now..........

up yours Bournemouth !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the tingles still happened

yes ..we cheered up

SOD Dept of work and pensions

bring it on!!!

I know you all know what happened at the match ....but probably others watch it at low points in their life.

My grand daughter likes playing some games over and over but not as often as I watch that last 5 minutes of that game  on rainy days !

I always like following watching that last 5 mins at Brentford, with the video of Bournemouth fans on the pitch at Prenton park....
"We want our trophy now,we want our trophy now"...followed by gradual reduction in singing...and then mumble, mumble to whisper, whisper to defly silence and disbelief.......LOVE IT!!!!!!

It is good to watch the ashes to glory disc before the seasons begins.

Is that the one where they are on the pitch and the video cuts as the news comes through with an "Aw F......"?

I will always regret not zooming my camera out at Brentford. It was fine at the far end, I was just happy the penalty missed  to think about adjusting it.

Still like the fact that some people in Belle Vue Bar did not realise Rovers had actually scored because they celebrated the Penalty miss long and hard.

Know of a bloke who had been in BVB and left to drive home. Somebody rang him on way home and bellowed "Champions eh f*****g Champions" No say my mate they only drew its not good enough

Convincing him that Rovers had scored after the miss when he had been listening on the Radio must have been quite interesting !

I only just looked at the pitch again in time to see Paynter on the edge of the box.

Same, I was facing the wrong way hugging two complete strangers until someone yelled that we were attacking, turned round and saw Paynter bearing down on goal!
