Not to get cattied away
« on January 24, 2018, 05:54:25 am by acko »
Fine the Rovers are on a fairly decent run,and getting the luck which they didnt get early in the season.Still they are only 7 points from the relegation places and as we know from the past few seasons they have a habit of shooting therselfs in the foot.Good drawers at Peterboro and Scunny can be blown away with defeat at home to Brisol. With the new injuries the team is looking a bit thin and time is running out to get it back to a reasonable staffing level so far this transfer window as been disappointing with no new blood and more injuries.Although Marquis is like most people say playing well, but the truth is he is there to score the goals maybe a new striker would give him an extra incentive.May the run the rovers are on will keep going until we reach what is considered the safety mark 50/53 points. But the last few seasons shows once the slide starts we have found it hard to stop.

I'm purring at the thought of the remainder of the season though.  As long as we stop being littered with mistakes we will be fine.

We could do with a couple of new players if there's any money in the kitty.

I still think Fergie is the purrfect man for the job. Bet he’s feline fine about our progress. Heard he’s lining up a centre back from Moggiedishu.

Just wish we'd stop pussyfooting around the 18 yard box.

He says the Refs are Cheetahs

Seriously why not just tell Acko (in case he does not know) he can press Modify and change the Title to carried from cattied - and avoid the "catty" remarks

Ive done it hundreds of times !

peter bonetti would be good (if a little old) - he was known as "the cat" - not because he was particularly agile, mind - he just used to half-bury his shit in the back garden...

Did he occasionally fetch a mouse into the house as well? 😀
