The majority of people were looking at the full back positions as the weak links, with Mason being switched about, Toffolo and Garratt coming in and out. Not many were blaming Butler, Baudry, Wright.

Whilst at the start of the season, the CB area whilst Baudry was out looked short in depth, Butler and Wright were doing ok and since Baudry returned the defensive record over the last 2 months was relatively good with most citing the lack of goals as the problem.

Had a few on here have had their way, we would have signed a left back, a midfielder and a striker, with the odd one or two saying a CB was 4th on their list of priorities. .That wouldn't have helped at all with this centre half crisis, and we would still be in this same position.

We've been extremely unfortunate to lose 3 key defenders in such a short time. Nothing can change that and let's hope DF can find suitable reinforcements.

We've also been very fortunate that we have time to address the injury crisis, had this happened next week we'd be knackered

Yes and no. Still would've been able to sign free agents, but we've got a lot more option at the moment.

What we need is a centre half and a left back desperately

What we need is someone who knows how to put the ball in the oppositions goal.
