Since the under 23 teams came into the competition it has been devalued and we have put virtual youth and reserve team players on the pitch for these games.

 Reading their forum it seems as though none of Colchester's three new signings (loans) got a run out this week, all being left on the bench and not getting on.
   Some of their posters were not happy with the situation,wanting to see the new players, and one of their youngsters (Junior) who has impressed them previously only got 2 minutes.

Both Lewis Guy and Theo Robinson were lightening quick - but one could not stay on his feet and the other could not stay onside.

Speed does not a good player necessarily make. Kiwomya will (and am sure will) need to show more than just a clean pair of heels, and equally Mandeville needs to show more to his game than neat touches.
