So no Baudry in the squad perhaps to cold to risk his hamstring.

It will be interesting to see how Kongolo does if he plays just behind the front two.
I said the other day that he might be quite decent there.

It's more of a free role I remember when he played at Arsenal he looked really good when he was running at Arsenal's back line. Blair and Rowe can tuck in when out of possession 5-3-2 maybe.

Agreed, he has good pace and much skill.
Maybe he will be better without so much defensive responsibility.

Hopefully he won't adopt the 4-4-2 diamond he seems to sometimes play it gives us no width plus we get done in the wide areas all the time.

Just heard DFs prematch interview. He said the team is a fit team, full of running. Mmm. Not quite sure we'd agree with that.

He also said we've not been playing well enough positionally. Glad he's acknowledged that, as Houghtons been way too deep. I hope he gets involved in positive play rather than playing as an extra centre half.

Great, just kicked off and we're on the back foot already. Come on boys!

I think we’ve started quite well, pressing them but you look how high their back line is and can’t help think Kiwomya would have a field day

Certainly sounds a more positive performance so far with McCullough and Blair getting plenty of the ball.

Priceless! Summeriser Lee Turnbull proclaimed we're going to win. Within 30 secs we've conceded!

Soft goal. Cross from the right, their player has had acres of room. Their full back has isolated Blair and outjumped him.

The game up until that point was frantic, with a complete absence of any quality or composure from both teams. Walsal looked the more likely playing it on the floor. Blair and Kongolo seen a lot of the ball on our right but no end quality.

24' Goal @WFCOfficial | Shaibu uses his strength to get past McCullough, he then lays the ball back to Edwards who scores his second of the game. 2-0 #DRFC

Second goal, McCullough has been outmuscled off the ball, their full back has ambled unmarked into the box and slotted it into the bottom corner.
