We've been due a hiding for ages. The draws have masked some pretty poor performances and it was clear we'd take a thumping before we thumped someone.

Actually DF is not playin this evening . The back two are atrocious ! They are very much inferior to Buts and Wright and it's like a knife through butter . We have no presence in mudfield to hold onto the ball as both Houghton and Whiteman are allowing the game to pass them by . It has been a dismal display all round with the sole exception of Mc Cullough who is head and shoulders above the rest .
Copps and Kiwomya and Baudry ALL three neede from the off in second half . Goodnight all I am in Florence and am going to the bar now for my bottle of Chianti.

I'm nowhere near Fergie out yet but if the back two are shite then the question is why has he brought them in?

Err, because we had no centre halves and two days left of the January transfer window...

Desperation. Told you 3 weeks ago we need centre half, left back and striker. He’s absolutely clueless

They were last minute "buy what you can". Well, loan but you know what I mean. We couldn't foresee the three centre backs getting injured all within a week in late January, very harsh if anyone blames Fergie for that, but based on Saturday I do have to say neither Anderson nor Boyle looked much cop and it appears the same tonight.

We were vulnerable at the back before we lost our best two and we went shopping in the bargain bin. I'm no football expert but I'm starting to worry we may be in a spot of trouble.

Most troubling thing for me is Fergie has form for not being able to arrest a slide.

I don’t think it is really. People make a big commitment of both time and money to follow away games mid week and they put a pathetic performance like this in!!?? Every right to ask the question

To be fair to him I turned off IFollow in disgust. If I had paid to go and watch that both Fergie and the team would be getting a few choice words.

Looks like we got away with it. Four out of the bottom five lost tonight and Bury could only manage a draw.

Well I watched the second half instead of hitting the Chianti. The fight back only highlighted the very awful defending in that first half and again for the fourth goal. If anything positive at all can be said it is perhaps that we have regained McCullough who was MOM and that we have Wright Baudry and Butler to replace that terrible terrible central defensive duo.
I have to ask what the hell has happened to you Jordan Houghton . I was your number one fan until the Scunny game but tonight AGAIN you and Whiteman went missing !

However, we has slipped to 16th and a point closer to the drop zone.

They don't look good do they? Why didn't we at least do a bit of homework? I know it was obviously a rush decision but were these two the best options?

Graing, are you sure you didn't hit the chianti?

McCullough only played two thirds of the game before being subbed. We were 4-0 down by that point.

Wright and Butler are out for another month (4-5 games).

It only works if you pay more when we win.  Would you pay 100 quid a win?

Rough with the smooth it makes the wins better at least.

I've only seen them in one game and they looked shaky but they're not going to form an effective partnership after two weeks. Defensively were not a bad side, we had the 5th best goals against record in the league up till Butler, Baudry and Wright getting injured and if anyone reckons they saw that coming they're talking out their arse.

Yes but not too damaging. Only slipped one point, made the scoreline less dramatic and those two late goals will have salvaged some of the team’s confidence.

Onwards to Fleetwood, when a win will change the atmosphere again.

An evening in Florence spent in front of a screen watching Rovers at Walsall?!

I don’t know whether to praise you or question your sanity!!
