I think the main positive is that most teams below us lost as well. So we've had a bad night but nobody in the relegation places has gained any ground. Also those 2 late goals meant the goal difference hasn't taken too much of a hit.

Sorry, just seen Oldham won so 21st now has 34 points rather than 33. Still, could have been worse!

They did both contain unexpected worrying slumps though.
One got us relegated and the other cost us an almost nailed on Championship.
Whichever way you look at it, it happened.

Slumps yes
But both very different, one was just four defeats after promotion was sealed.
The other was a mid season slump where we went around 16 games Gaining very few points.

I'm just worried that we might be about to experience our third slump though.

4-0 with minutes to go could have gone 5-0 and a drop of 5 in the goal difference

but the 2 goals made it a mere drop of 2 goals

and Rochdale losing from a winning position means they are now bottom and all those games to play in such a short time win them all and they would only be level with Rovers

checking we have one of the best goal differences of the relegation possibles (rochdale have to squeeze 5 games in - can the squad take it unlikely)

maybe oldham beating mk might be a good result (oldham got 2-0 up against Blackburn - so sadly they look like staying up )-- keeps the gap wide

rochdale 18 games to play aginst Rovers mere 13 that's a hell of a lot can see domino losing sequence coming for them after the tv hype ??

The only positive I want is it wants to be the last time we play three at the back. And Coppinger needs to play every minute to the end of the season.

Positive from tonight was McCulloch our best player just a pity he wasn’t used in midfield.
If he had been in midfield with Rowe, Blair and Houghton then we may well have got a draw or even won. We lost the game in midfield. The two new lads at centre back did nothing wrong.
All Lawler did all night was pick the ball out of the net 4 times.
Not one save to make other than the goals and none of them looked saveable.

Copps proved yet again how valuable he is to us.

Because he can't play 46 games a season anymore, we should n't really be having to rely on a 37 year old player to keep digging us out of the hole we seem to create every game

felt sorry for marquis, he came over to apologies, only to receive loads of abuse, he was not soley to blame for the shambles. 2 really poor performance over the last couple of games, lets go and beat fleetwood.
