The most successful manager in the English league,very rarely if ever played the wing back system and he had a lot better squad/squads to pick from . It seems to me at times our manager is trying to do his own thing and put his stamp on it. It must be difficult to try and do the same job, admittedly at a different level to your father

If your father was successful as AF then he would be a good person to try and emulate.

Old SAF was hardly averse to wingers either. Beckham and Giggs would be playing wing back or centre midfield under DF.
