Sat in Lisbon eating an egg bap watching on Iplayer. If owt significant happens i'll post it. Marquis got a round of applause from the Gillingham fans. Didnt realise he played for them.

8' 0-0 Holy comes out of his area and stays out there with Marquis looking to shoot. From a tight angle the striker misses the target but a slight let off there for the keeper. #Gills

8' Alfie Beestin causes a mix-up at the back in pressuring Holy and Zakuani, Marquis tries to steer the ball to the empty net but it goes over  0-0 #DRFC

Sounds a good positive start from Rovers. Penalty shout turned down

Rovers are dominating the game, playing some good stuff on the floor, Gillingham looking to spoil.

Linesmans pulled up, looks life a thigh, could be out for 8 weeks.

Turned down help from Gills' physio. Maybe he just didn't fancy it. Got that tracksuit on very quick.

Radio sheff commentator reckons we are playing well, certainly the better of the two sides.

Not only did he play against us, he scored against us; it was the game when Forrester scored from his own half; Marquis headed in the equaliser for them.

Playing well but there’s no threat up front to them yet.  Mc Cullough is our best player again.

Well, half time.
Uninspiring 0-0.
Hopefully we can do what we often do, that is nothing special in the first half but massive improvement in the second and win the game.

Going back to the Marquis thing, I think he scored something like 8 goals in 15 appearances for them.

Strange, some posters are saying: "Good positive start from Rovers"; "Rovers are dominating the game"; "Playing some good stuff on the floor".

Opinions, eh?  :)

45' A double half-time change for the hosts. Tom Eaves and Franck Moussa are coming on, with Navid Nasseri and Rhys Murphy coming off.  0-0 #DRFC

Strange indeed WE, I have listened to the radio commentary and the description I used was from their view of the game, watching it live of course.
They did say we had the better start of the two sides but there was nothing much happening that got me excited.

Only three shots on target in the whole first half.

Also WE, Copps is Magic said after three minutes play that he would let us know if anything worth reporting happens, it was him who came on and said how we had started well.

Only two more posts from him since then and they were both about an injured linesman.

Its what you'd expect. An industrious lower league game. Rowes just had a good chance, went a foot wide.

What do you think of Lisbon Copps.

I have been three times, on golf holidays with the lads, and I really rate the city.
