Time for a marquis hat-trick fingers crossed

In our 18 seasons in this league we have never had a striker score more than 13 league goals is a season. Only Glyn Snodin (18) and Neil Redfearn (14), free kick specialists and midfielders both, have scored more.

John Regan, Colin Douglas (when he was a striker) and Billy Paynter have scored 13.

This game is going to be one of the last to finish today by the look of it, not what my nerves need!

A third for Marquis would certainly calm me down.

Yet again Marquis scores ( without his goals it would be negativity)

Do you find that when you go to parties you find yourself in empty rooms?

He's only making a valid point, Iberian; we badly need another striker of Marquis's ability signed on for next season, even if it means the loan market.

As things stand we're 8 points and 8 places clear of the bottom 4 with games in hand over all 12 teams below us; 2 games over 9 of the teams, 3 games over two of them. And folk have the temerity to talk of relegation. You couldn't make it up! The term 'snowflake' springs to mind...

Late goals elsewhere, Northampton get a winner at Bury. Oldham pegged back to 1-1 by a penalty.

Dead right, Hound; they don't seem to think that anyone should make a suggestion on how things could be improved.

Just a point here, reading back through the thread, most of the concerned posts were when we were 1-0 down and just 6 points and 5 places clear of the bottom four.
Please note, I was not one of them so don't jump on me.
just trying to put some perspective on that.

It was 5 points and 4 places I believe. Understandable to see contrasting emotions during the course of a game.

Absolutely RA but it seems that only certain views can be written.

It's a huge win, full credit for another comeback. 53 points is surely enough now you would have to hope. Beat Bury midweek and it absolutely is.

If you dare to look upwards there are 4 teams within 3 points, 3 of which we have 2 or 3 games in hand. Reach for the stars and you might get the moon.
