Usual story. If they behave themselves then no problem. If they decide to carry on like prats they can have no complaints if they are thrown out.

Don't really care as long as as has been said they don't act like Kitsons. It's not as if we don't do it.

Middlesbrough have put a block on anyone without previous purchasing history for the Wall game at the weekend as well as only giving us a thousand tickets.

It makes a bit of a mockery out of putting netting on seats and closing areas in order to separate two sets of supporters if they're allowed anywhere in the ground anyway.

Surely it's a potential health and safety issue?

As others have said. If they're happy to give us their money and behave themselves then let it be.

As long as they're respectful to our fans then I see no harm. I've sat with fans of opposition teams before at the Keepmoat and it's all a good laugh if they treat it right.

More the merrier I say. Let Blackburn fans boost next year's budget!

Good on them, it'll be nice to have a bigger than usual crowd and a potentially decent atmosphere even if there's nothing riding on the game from a Rovers perspective.

As a sidenote, the last two attendances have been given as 7k and 8k or thereabouts but there didn't look to be anywhere near that number in the ground. Do the club do tickets sold attendances rather than bums on seats nowadays?

Look at the crowds given for Bradford Cit's last two home games. There were about 10,000 max for the Portsmouth game and even less for the previous one. I know a lot of City season ticket holders and they all said the same.

Every club does it nowadays I think, look at the thing with Arsenal attendances hitting 57-58 thousand when there's clearly not that many there.

Yes, I agree on that.
I would be surprised then if there were more than 6000 in the stadium on Saturday and 1000 of those were away supporters.
It kind of emphasises the point that our own support is dwindling right now even though the official attendance was 8255.

Not sure why they would buy in the home end as they haven't sold their allocation yet.

Seems like Blackburn are setting records for tomorrow night and will more than likely be a sell out

And there'll be no cash turnstiles either. So those who do use them will need to visit the ticket office.

I had a ticket (didnt use it in the end, gave it to a friend) in the Brentford end. I managed to get a ticket from our ticket office a day before the game.

As long as they are well behaved then they should be welcomed.

I took the girlfriend to watch Millwall at Forest for the first game this season and we got chucked out and we never opened our mouths, for the crime of wearing a lapel badge. According to the stewards it was for our own safety because they can't control the actions of the crowd if we had cheered if we scored.

On DROS it says tickets for the home end are only available to people who are on the database.

They may have closed the stable door after the horse has bolted

But they still haven't sold their full allocation so why would they buy in the home end?

I've no idea, I'm commenting on an earlier post, not stating a fact

We've round about 5000 season ticket holders, Rigo; they're counted as part of every home game whether they turn up or not.

hound what is the point putting a higher crowd than there is cos we would have to pay more taxes than we should have to, it does not make sence to me

I suppose it gives some supporters an opportunity to tell us that our support isn’t falling away.

It's a EFL rule that clubs have to declare "tickets sold" (including season tickets) as the attendance rather than numbers through the turnstiles.

All the tickets allocated to us had been sold before the weekend ,our website said Doncaster were not going to allocate anymore ,hence the mad rush to get them in the home sections ,Rovers B/burn twitter was not stating the same allocation as website ,a bit of cross wires ,however having sold 3300 we got informed this morning that a further 700 were now available ,i believe these have also gone...Doncaster ticket office have been canceling and returning money to all lancastrian postcodes who have purchased in the home section ,quite a few people stating this and not happy ,but it is a home section afterall and i am sure we have voiced our concern when its happened to us  ....To make matters worse you Twitter via some laison chappy was saying we could pay on the day and even stated were to get them ,all very confusing.....
Perfect result tommorrow is a high scoring entertaining draw and Posh to beat the Shrews ,had great feedback from Donny supporters may the best team win

It possibly would have stayed pay on the day if it wasn't for your lot buying in the home end.

It would have remained as pay on the day if you hadn't suddenly sold out.

The most you have taken to an away game this season has been 3,000, which is why the initial allocation was 3,300. Don't forget that the away club, that's you Blackburn!, have to request the tickets you need about 5 weeks before the fixture takes place and the home club has to deliver those tickets about 4 weeks before the fixture happens. Because this is a postponed fixture you will have had those tickets a long time.

Our largest following was a sell out at Rochdale 3500 not 3000 and to be honest we have had few sell outs this season .I think we have the largest away following in this division ....we have sold 4000 and lets not forget it is a Tuesday night plus  the fact we have sold out of our allocated tickets for Charlton as well over 3000..
