Rovers vs Rovers

Marosi, Alcock, Baudry, Butler, Mason, Houghton, Whiteman, Blair, Copps, Beestin, Marquis.

Bench of Lawlor, Boyle, Anderson, may, Williams, Kongolo and McCullough.

Still no sign of Kiwomya and didn’t realise Rowe wasn’t fit?

Rowe out for the season and maybe the stat of next.

Good team that, expecting plenty of goals

Thanks, hadn’t realised that - just read up on it.

Not sure I’m too keen on the line up, particularly in a diamond - Blair and Whiteman both out of position on the left/right. Looking at the bench though I’m not too sure what I’d do differently - Kongolo or forcing Houghton out of position seem to be the only alternatives.

Blair needs to up his game from last outing. Now being played in his favoured wing position he needs to try to lead his marker a merry dance and can't afford to miss the guilt edged chance like he had on Saturday.

We need to be more careful with the ball when playing it out of defence otherwise it will be back in our box in quick time.

The other concern defensively is being caught for pace on the flanks and Blackburn getting players into the box to outnumber us.

Tough ask tonight with Blackburn having nothing to lose.

Looks like it's a wet pitch at the KM this evening .. hope they've got the right studs on. I'd be surprised and delighted if we get even a point out of this one.

Just seen a close up of the pitch ... looks a bit rough, plenty of bald patches.

Very nearly matched them in many ways up until we decide to break/attack then they are streets ahead of us in terms of inventiveness, speed of thought and most of all, skill. I like the way that they have only passed back to their goalie on the odd occasion and played the ball well out of defence. They look like a half decent champs. side. We have a way to go, particularly upfront if we are to progress to their attacking level next season.

Possibility of the game being called off? Ball not rolling correctly?

He obviously had a reason. Offside? Foul on a defender?

Ah, right. Should have allowed an advantage, then?

Nah, their players stopped playing and Marquis waltzed through and slotted it past the keeper. He'd already blown.

Not a D is it really... But there was grass between the ball and the paint.

The circumference of the ball has to overlap the line that's all.
