Goal Celebration
« on May 07, 2018, 07:00:20 am by TheDonnyPop »
I'm sure I would of done the same, having just scored the goal to win the league... And was on fire.

But it's my understanding, removing your shirt is a yellow card offence.
I also understand jumping into the crowd is a yellow card offence.

So in theory, could Grigg have been sent off after his celebration yesterday?

Also, did anyone see which of their players was jumping up and down with a flare in the celebrations? Surely a fine on the way there?

Yes you have a fair point there

However in the same way as the Ref overlooked Billy Sharpe's Shirt off offence after he scored the "That's for you son Goal" I expect this Ref used his common sense and "rolled" the 2 offences into one - overcelebrating perhaps ?

Does not make it right I know but probably both Refs got each call right

The ref could have booked all eleven Wigan players after they all went into the crowd to celebrate.

Could have sent em off - and allowed us at least one shot at Goal. If it missed however and went for a Goal Kick I guess that would have been that !  :scarf:
