Looking for new manager, Grayson has left. Will DF be in the frame?

They will spend less than us this season.
I can't see DF wanting to work with a director of football and having no say on the budget.

Wonder how long Grayson will be available for. He's a very good manager at this level if next season starts poorly and we lose patience with Fergie would be a great option to have.

When theres been growing clamour to get rid i've still supported sticking with DF but thats in part because theres not many credible replacements

Glyn would be the ideal Second manager alongside Brian Deane for the Evestrust Rovers v Leeds legends game. Over to you Simon ?

It's not looking good for City. They have lost probably 2,000 or more season ticket holders so far on last season. There is a split between the board and the fans. The board's idea of running the club was unacceptable to their last two managers. They will probably lose their best four players in the close season as well.
Our problems look small in comparison.

What problems Idler? Didn’t know we had any. I know what you mean though.

33 years today since the fire. RIP to all who perished. Never forgotten by all true football supporters.

I don't think so. I could have bought one as a senior for £149. I think that adult early bird was £169.
The fire still causes a lot of emotion here and there will be a service in the City centre to remember the lost ones. We had been shopping up Great Horton just before and got home about 4:15. My brother-in-law called in and said there's a fire at City smiling thinking that it was nothing. I had the TV on to catch the results and they went over to John Helm for live coverage. I had mates and workmates there and it took some taking in. The old guy covered in flames walking on the pitch will live with me forever. The fans still raise money for the burns unit even now.

Idler agree with that - I used to work in Bradford and there were a few survivors/people who were there
Tragic event caused by something as simple as a thrown away cigarette.
There is still a lot of noise around conspiracies.
Besides the tragic loss of life we also lost our cowshed

I was living in Bradford, with a very pregnant wife, and toyed with going to the last game "celebration". I could have been in the stand that burned down, but something made us choose not to go. The whole city was in shock afterwards. Terrible.
We know people who were there, survived, but struggle to talk about what happened.
On a lighter note John Helm still does some commentating and is a big Bradford PA fan (and Chairman?).
