It was and it wasn’t, came back from stoke really buzzing  then got told to get to DRI as my dad was finally losing his long struggle with the big C . A day I’ll certainly never forget

   I can never quite work out which day I enjoyed the most..The golden goal at Stoke,Leeds at Wembley..but for sheer suspense highs and lows and the atmosphere at the end it has to be Brentford away..

Until Brentford, this was the best day of my time supporting Rovers. I was only young so every time an attack came down our end of the field and everyone stood up, me and a mate had to run down to the front to be able to see what was going on.

Probably the biggest goal in the club's history. If we'd not won that day Christ knows what'd have happened. Wouldn't have been the end of the world but it'd have taken even longer to get out of the Conference and we'd not have had the following decade.

Singing "Are you watching Richardson?" after the goal celebrations is still one of my best ever memories. What a story that season's rivalry with Dag & Red was too.
