A bit like the smoke bomb brigade, some will have you believe it's just high spirits and boys will be boys

I looked at it again and the word 'Brexit' came to mind.
Why?
A lot of those involved probably don't have the sense or inclination to vote for either side.
The problem is a lack of respect for authority in any shape or form.
I know a teacher that was told by a badly behaving young child. " You want to hit me miss don't you"?
"But you can't or I'll get you done".
Another secondary school teacher that I know was hit whilst breaking up a fight in the playground. The pupil was allowed back in school after three days.
No respect at school and then no respect for the police or any rules or regulations as they get older.

And how exactly does a Volvo represent authority?
Doesn't authority or the authorities prohibit the damage of other people's property be it a Volvo or any other item.

Are you seriously trying to say that that Volvo was attacked to give the finger to British authority and not purely because it was Swedish?

Volvo has Chinese owners actually.

No Glynn I am saying that these numbskulls targeted the Volve because it was Swedish but had a total lack of responsibility and no respect for authority or fear of the justice system.
Compare that with how quiet the Russian Ultras have been during this World Cup.
Looking  at those idiots Cantley,I don't think that they will be into geography.

Didn’t 75% of young people vote remain? Their future ruined. Must be on their itinerary before running around London protesting about Trump or anything else with the bandwagon rolling.

I'm not sure what your point i there but somehow I don't think the people who will be protesting about Trump will consist of many of those trashing the car.

Not much difference Bristol; rent-a-mob; they will be an utter embarrassment, not to Trump, to themselves; pathetic.

The England mob were a bunch of pissed up folks all ready to follow whatever lead was given, pretty mindless sheep. The anti-Trump mob will be a collection of people from many walks of life, most having thought deeply about the qualities of that man and the consequences of our representitives being sweet with the likes of him. Some of those may want to shout about it, some will be quiet, and the odd few may go further - we'll see. But they are anything but the same rent a mob despite what the DM etc may say.

I suspect they'll have less BMW's between them and the same amount of brain cells. To equate them is playing thick.

The England fans destroyed a Volvo because of a football match, which was won, so they did that in pure glee. That's a display of wanton violence. The anti Trump demo has a solid reason, to show displeasure towards a lunatic - eg only yesterday:
https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2018/07/donald-trump-breastfeeding-tariffs

*if* there is violence by some on that demo then we can discuss the details afterwards, but even the angriest person in any "mob" there will be being fed by the bullying violence of Trump (see above).

The two are poles apart, though the DM etc would disagree.

Ok Bristol, let's get serious. Where were all the liberal elitists and gobshites when Robert Mugabe, the King of Saudi Arabia, and the leader of China, were all given full state visits to this country, despite the vile things they've done to millions of their own people, and despite the fact that their records on human rights make Trump look like a Saint?; not a peep from any of them; hypocrisy doesn't even come close.

Bullying violence?; do you mean standing up to Assad, after he'd used chemical weapons on women and children?; or standing up to that fat b*stard in North Korea?

The only bullying violence related to trump is carried out by the fascists called antifa (the irony is lost on them).
Pretty horrible the violence they carry out, attacking, intimidating and threatening law abiding trump supporters.

Aye Boomstick. The only violence comes from the left.

Oh, apart from that protestor who was deliberately run over and killed by a neo-Nazi. How many folk on the other side have been murdered? Remind me.

I used the link there as an example, check it out - threatening small nations for supporting breastfeeding which harms the powdered milk corps. That's sick.

Assad and chemicals - from all the evidence I've seen it was the US sponsored jihadists who used it on their own, for propaganda purposes. Not a shred of evidence of it being Assad. Trump and the US have been supporting the jihadists throughout this war, effectively arming and supporting ISIS.

N Korea was never a threat, not in the real world.

If Trump supporters are Neo-Nazis, and Antifa means Anti Fascist (just with the last 5 letters taken off so the uninitiated think they're some sort of foreign terrorists), then surely everyone who hates Trump is antifa (antifascist) by definition?

Not sure we should be stigmatising the concept of being anti fascist.

Also... How come Neo Nazis who support Trump aren't considered "average Trump voters" yet anti Trump protests are not only considered to represent all Corbyn Voters, All Labour Voters and Voters of all Left Wing parties but anyone with Liberal or Socialist views anywhere in the World?

Not sure how someone who thinks the latter could be offended if I assumed that their Right Wing views meant they agreed with Hitler unless they publically "comdem" him after every post vaguely advocating right wing ideologies.
