Got to mention Marcus Banger Trescothick today with his three catches

Bowler got a hat trick and all 3 of them were caught in the Slips by Banger - great rarity to get 2 in 2 I bet

Yes still a very good slip catcher. He took a brilliant catch against Yorkshire at Headingley.

So a respectable 4th place finish for Yorkshire, and the Lancs get relegated on "goal difference"

 it's a funny system but it keeps it interesting..Finished 4th and yet were fighting relegation until the last match..Just got my tickets for Sri Lanka v West Indies in the world cup next year..

During the Summer there’s nothing finer than sitting in the garden and listening to Test Mstch Special...with the exception of being there of course. I do enjoy going to Scarborough every year to watch Yorkshire too.

TMS has not quite been the same though since the days of John Arlott and Brian Johnston, Fred Truman, Don Mosey etc. Now we have lost Henry Bloefeld.
