The only time I went to Spotland was in the early 80s - could have been a Boxing Day game..

Pitch was a quagmire, wouldn’t have been played now I reckon.. at one point there was a shot on goal just got stuck in the mud..

I think it ended 2-2..

Pretty sure it was New Years Day 1984. It ended 3-3. We all expected it to be postponed or abandoned but I don't think the ref fancied going back in midweek. There was standing water on the pitch and we struggled until we realised we couldn't pass it and just had to lump it long. Surreal game, but entertaining.

Could have been.. I knew it was a draw and young Snod was still with us..
