Will Tuesday be a game too far, though? Hope not.

I know that Gillingham were utter gash and gave us acres of room in midfield. But Coppinger today. Sweet Jesus, that was as good a performance as I've ever seen from him.The way he set up that one on one for Marquis in the first half defied belief. One of their players tried clicking the ball past Coppinger at shoulder height. He swung up a foot and dropped the ball straight in front of him, for him to step into and lay a defence splitting ball to Marquis. I couldn't believe I'd seen it till I saw the replay on the big screen. Utterly sublime. He is technically a better player now than he was 3, 5, 10 or 14 years ago.
I'd love a statue of Copps doing, he certainly doesn't have to be dead for it. Newcastle have an Alan Shearer statue for instance, and didn't Arsenal get one made for Thierry Henry?
