Number 17 Jerome Sinclair
« on October 24, 2018, 08:47:54 am by Donnywolf »
Just checked the "stats" and saw that he did not pick up a Yellow Card last night
In the context of the Game last night I found that staggering given the amount of incidents he was involved in and in particular when he hauled back Joe Wright early doors South East corner outside box
They both went into Box and "he" went down looking I preume for  Pen. Ref gave nothing and no Card. Ref made a mess with initial decision
17 then did a huge pull back / foul in North West corner - Mason lost control - ball ran to another SAFC player and Mason fouled him (bad tackle according to our Twitter Feed). Ref of course flourishes Yellow Card Ref made a mess of initial decision
Could not believe 17 got away with antics all night
Also who was it that ran at Wilks (off the ball) shotly after he had been Carded and barged him looking for a reaction and in front of the Lino who had recently alerted the Ref to whatever Wilks had done ?

Yep, I saw that as well Donnywolf. It's a pity the officials didn't!
I think it was Cattermole but not certain.

There were a number of incidents last night where injustice followed.

The one you mention with Mason, he was impeded, went to ground and got up again to challenge for the ball. The ref should have pulled it back for the original infringement as had he have not been brought to ground he wouldn't have needed to challenge for the ball again and thus not received the yellow.

Wright, in the same area of the pitch, was standing his ground looking up at the ball when there player barged into him and went to ground to win a free kick. Wright was booked for remonstrating against the injustice.

When Wilks was pulled back but ran on to the one on one with the keeper, the advantage was probably right but the ref didn't go back to book the player for the blatant pull.

There were plenty of others as well where the ref was hoodwinked into not serving justice correctly (May be one or two from us as well) but the main culprits on persistent fouling was Sunderland without a doubt and they prospered as a result.

Number 8 committed a bad foul whilst on a booking & didn’t receive a red - reckon the big club factor alone will mean Sunderland get promoted as officials are too spineless to implement the rules evenly to both sides meaning they get an unfair advantage

The 17 spent all night trying to get our players booked.
Total knob head.

What Marquis does every week. Marquis even dived in injury time to try and nick a penalty. It’s part of the game.

Marquis is nowhere near as bad as the Sunderland 17.
Also JM doesn’t spend all night trying to get players booked.

Oh John is a nuisance and a half. We would hate him if he came down here as an opposition striker.

I totally agree.
However he does not spend all game trying to get players sent off.
