Was awful last night
Missed the tackle that led to the goal and his dead ball delivery was atrocious all night

Must time for Amos

He started the season really well but has been poor for about a month now.. not seen enough of Amos to suggest weather he would be a better fit or not

In the first half Andrew had gooch in his pocket but did make an error for the goal and I think this knocked his confidence a bit and he wasn’t great 2nd half.

Not sure whether it was a mistake or slipped, but certainly not awful. Generally the whole defence kept Sunderland away from shots on goal last night. They never really looked scoring more than the odd goal. Always amazes me that defenders/goalies make a mistake and we conceed they then get slaughtered but strikers and others miss really good scoring opportunities and they are considered unlucky!. We have got 1 point from the last 3 home games because we are not scoring when we create good chances, not because a defender makes the odd mistake.

If you watch it, gooch controls it poorly and it then bounces off his standing leg. This does Andrew like a kipper, but gooch didn’t mean it.

Gooch got lucky there. Andrew is in a poor run of form at the minute but he's shown he's a good player, I'm sure he'll turn it around.

Andrew has been terrible for weeks. I can’t believe how slow he is.

I said that to my mate about him and Mason last night, both ok but are limited due to being so slow.

wouldn’t be too much of a problem in a rigid 442 like when we won league 1 but in a fluid 433 where the full backs quite often provide the width it’s a hinderance too us
